CHARLESTON, West Virginia, March 21 — West Virginia’s WVSSAC boys basketball championships continued Saturday with the Wheeling [WV] Central Catholic Maroon Knights defeating the Wyoming East [New Richmond, WV] Warriors, 55-39.
The win gave the Knights the Class AA trophy, after the Tug Valley [Williamson, WV] Panthers took the Class A crown in a 64-54 win over the Greater Beckley Christian [Prosperity, WV] Crusaders.
The championships continue throughout the day at the Charleston Coliseum with the Class 3A and Class 4A title games still to come.
